Le géant russe Gazprom a annoncé vendredi soir 2 septembre que le gazoduc Nord Stream, qui devait reprendre ses activités samedi après maintenance, sera finalement arrêté “complètement” jusqu’à ce qu’une turbine sur le pipeline vital soit réparée pour alimenter Européens. Dans un communiqué, Gazprom indique avoir découvert des “fuites d’huile” dans la turbine lors de cette opération de maintenance dans une station de compression en Russie. “Jusqu’à la réparation (…), le transport de gaz naturel depuis Nord Stream est totalement suspendu”, a indiqué le groupe, sans préciser la durée de cette réparation....

The federal government intends to temporarily hike GST rebate cheques in a bid to ease some of the hurt of inflation for lower income Canadians. The European Commission presented a proposal on Tuesday to suspend the visa facilitation agreement between the European Union and Russia, which would make it more expensive and harder for Russians to travel to EU member states. European Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson announced the proposal at a press conference in Brussels, saying there was “no basis for a privileged relationship between Russia” and the European Union following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine....
